Mech Solutions recently received a $10,000 funding boost from VentureLAB’s Accelerate AI program. This investment will be useful in providing the resources necessary to maintain smoother operations, innovate in the 3D printing software industry, and create solutions that help customers achieve their goals.
As part of the first cohort of the Accelerate AI program, Mech Solutions has a unique opportunity to take advantage of growth opportunities in the artificial intelligence industry. The funding will cover legal services provided by Luo Legal, a leading law firm specializing in investment procedures. Mech Solutions is also participating in the ScaleAI project and will be working with Luo Legal to ensure proper handling of their investment procedures.

Accelerate AI: A Comprehensive Support System for AI Startups
VentureLAB’s latest program, Accelerate AI, aims to help high-potential, scale-ready AI startups across Canada accelerate their growth. The program is funded by Scale AI, Canada’s AI Supercluster, and focuses on propelling technology startups powered by AI to fast-track their delivery in the supply chain industry. This is achieved through tailored, streamlined guidance and mentorship, and access to Canada’s leading Hardware Lab. Participating ventures will accelerate their development and commercialization, with a specific focus on four key areas:
- Attracting and retaining talent
- Customer acquisition
- Access to Capital
- Technology development
The program runs for six months and supports the growth and scaling of AI startups offering intelligent solutions and applications in the supply chain industry. It provides tailored, streamlined support to participating ventures, accelerating their development and commercialization journeys in the four key areas mentioned above. The primary objective of the program is to help AI startups grow and scale by providing comprehensive support in these areas.
Accelerate AI, based in York Region, Canada’s second-largest tech cluster, leverages the region’s strengths and expertise to further expand Canada’s AI leadership. The program provides participating ventures with access to over 40 mentors and 15 advisors, as well as sessions with the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute and personalized support for product development. Additionally, ventures can access personalized support from the Capital Investment Program team of advisors to help them through the fundraising process.
Accelerate AI provides support in attracting top talent, as well as free access to VentureLAB’s Innovation Space in Markham and a satellite meeting space in Vaughan for co-working and meeting rooms. The space includes soundproof phone booths for concentrated work and collaboration zones for group dynamics. The program also offers personalized and promotional videos and articles tailored to each company for sharing on multiple channels, demo days, and access to VentureLAB’s network of over 60 partners, including AWS, Siemens, Keysight, Dell, MicroArt, and many more.
Mech Solutions’ Legal Services with Luo Legal
Mech Solution plans to use the funds for legal purposes. To this end, they have enlisted the help of Shui Luo from Luo Legal Professional Corporation. Shui is a licensed lawyer with over 20 years of experience in Canada and China, specializing in corporate and commercial law in various industries, including software, blockchain, manufacturing, and entertainment. He has gained expertise and methodologies typically only found in top-tier law firms, thanks to his experience in big law firms dealing with complex legal issues. When necessary, he collaborates with his contacts in big law firms. Shui is recognized for his practical and sound legal solutions, always prioritizing the needs and interests of his clients. As the founder of the firm, he is responsible for every aspect of a client’s file and personally serves and communicates with them most of the time.
Shui Luo is also actively involved in community activities and is a founding member of the Asia America Innovation Alliance (“AAIA”), a non-profit organization in Toronto that promotes innovative business among Asian communities across North America. Additionally, he is the legal advisor of the Waterloo Chinese Business Association and Oak Medical Education Foundation. Shui Luo will be managing all of Mech Solution’s funds and accounts to ensure proper utilization of funds and accurate cash flows.
